Product Description
The IC Biomedical Liquid Withdrawal Device (LWD) enables their Model LD25, LD35 or the LD50 LN2 dewars (each with 64mm neck diameter) to safely and conveniently pressure transfer liquid nitrogen at rates up to 8 liters per minute. The LWD has a fill adaptor which allows replenishment of the liquid supply without removal or venting the system pressure, keeping the liquid saturated at a safe pressure, yet sufficient to sustain liquid withdrawal.
Features
- The low pressure [10 psig (0.7 bar/69kPa)] assures safe dispensing through a phase separator (or with an optional accessory transfer hose:
- Equipped with double pressure relief valves for safe use with any cryogenic transfer hose. Other LWDs may require a transfer hose equipped with a pressure relief valve.
- Liquid nitrogen evaporation will normally maintain a pressure sufficient to sustain liquid withdrawal, but external pressurization can be applied while withdrawing liquid from the Dewar by connecting a supply of nitrogen gas.
